Tyson Ritter was stunned to watch Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) go into a tailspin on the set of Johnny & Clyde.
The All-American Rejects singer claimed on the Tuna On Toast with Stryker podcast that MGK freaked out after suggesting an edit of Megan Fox’s Johnny & Clyde death scene. “I walked over to her trailer and said, ‘Hey, Megan. I wanted to talk to you about the moment you die because you were teasing [mon personnage] By putting my fingers in your mouth, I will in turn put my fingers in your mouth when you are dead. It’s kind of like a victory for my character taking revenge,” he recalls.
But the suggestion displeased MGK. “[Il] was very upset when I asked if I could put my fingers in Megan Fox’s mouth. He went insane. He went into manic mode… And he was completely destabilized,” said Tyson Ritter.
However, the latter, who describes Megan as “a sweetheart,” found a positive side to the experience, as he was able to draw inspiration from MGK’s alleged crisis and use it for his performance in Catherine Hardwicke’s Prisoner’s Daughter, the film he did filmed at the same time as Johnny & Clyde.
“The next day I was supposed to be shooting a scene in Vegas where the character confronts Kate Beckinsale, his ex-wife, and the calm turns to a storm. “I really struggled to find a way to make this abrupt change,” he explained. I remember when Pistol Pete (MGK) started going wild at me I was like, “That was really tough, but also, ‘Thanks, man.’
Megan Fox and MGK (real name Colson Baker) have been engaged since January 2022. After months of breakup rumors, the couple hit it off in London this week.
Tyson Ritter has been married to actress Elena Satine since 2013.
