“That’s a slap in the face to all other talented artists!”: Angry BGT viewers demand jury’s removal after picking pants-clad Tonikaku as wildcard
Britain’s Got Talent viewers were furious at the judge’s wildcard choice during Sunday’s live final.
One even called for the replacement of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli after they picked trousers-clad comedian Tonikaku to compete alongside the other finalists for the £250,000 prize.
Many fans were upset that the scantily clad artist had been chosen over his rival, beatboxer MB14.
Of their decision, Simon said, “It was a unanimous decision – we just had to have it.” [Tonikaku] Here. It wouldn’t have been the same without him.’
And as soon as the comedian took the stage – in his underwear – viewers took to Twitter to express their feelings.

One wrote: “Sorry but the judge’s wild card is that dumbass Tonikaku, not MB14.” “These judges need to be replaced.”
With a second addition: “It would have been better to abolish the entire universe than bring back Tonikaku as a wild card.”
While a third said, “For the jury to have chosen Tonikaku as a wildcard is an absolute slap in the face to all the other performances they haven’t performed.”
