Musaši Entertainment Company (CZ): “Fabula Sylvestris”
In the forest everything has its own order. Every living thing, every tree and every mushroom ensures that everything is in order. Until a human comes and brings your mess, your trash. Musaši Entertainment Company presents the non-verbal puppet show Fabula Sylvestris about ingenuity, diligence and love for nature and motherland. The heroes of the fairy tale Fabula Sylvestris – Mister Hunk and Mister Smooth – are at home in the forest. There they have their loved ones, they can hide under the moss, go to pick mushrooms. And so they take care of the forest, feed the animals and clean up their legacies. But not everyone is so responsible.

Lukas Schneider Puppet Theater (CH): “Scaena Corpus – man and puppet make measurements”
Body images, self-perception, beauty ideals haunt him: the body that wants to be on stage. How to stand the public eye? How to deal with your own body? Conceived as a puppet-mirror-figure game, an exploration of self-perception and the perception of the other begins, a game about body images and ideals, an attempt to break with what is expected to feel free and complete. One step, one journey, one encouragement.

Burggarten concerts 2023: Bavarian Police Orchestra
The Bavarian Police Orchestra concert in Wels begins with fury and virtuosity with Otto M. Schwarz’s “Fanfare of Champions”. Richard Strauss’ “Concert Overture” is one of the most popular works by the Munich composer, followed by Gustav Holst’s “First Suite in E flat”. The suite is considered a groundbreaking work of wind symphonic literature. The last piece before the break is Johan de Mej’s multifaceted composition “At Kitty O’Shea’s”, which works Irish folk melodies into a lively sound sequence filled with bubbling melodic cascades. The orchestra, directed by Prof. Johann Mösenbichler sends a musical greeting to the USA with John Philipp Sousa’s “The Stars and Stripes”, before guests embark on a crazy musical journey through Latin America with Alfred Reed’s “Second Suite for Band”. ends with a medley of classics from big band history such as “Tuxedo Junction” and “Take the A-Train”.

Austrian Artistic Gang
Programme: Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750): The Art of Fugue and the Art of Improvisation. “Audiences seemed captivated by the beauty of Bach’s tonal textures and the immediacy of the improvisations, which reflected Bach’s music in the present, so to speak, and presented the musicians’ personal reflections,” writes Gunar Letzbor, who started this program in 2013 . Since then, the ensemble has been trying to interpret the contrapuntal, mysterious and highly admired late work of Johann Sebastian Bach with its own vision through free thinking with new sounds and improvisations in the spirit of our time.
