A serial killer is said to be targeting women in Oregon

A serial killer could be responsible for six murders, according to authorities investigating the deaths of the women in Portland, Oregon.

From February to May, the bodies of six victims were found within a 100-mile radius in wooded areas or remote rural areas, according to a New York Post article.

Police are working together to determine if the crimes committed the same perpetrator, according to a spokesman for the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office investigating one of the deaths.

“As with all investigations of this nature, our investigators are following every lead, including multiple leads from the public and comments on social media,” the spokesman said. We are working with our partner agencies to determine if there are links between this case in Clackamas County and others in the area.”

The latest victim, Ashley Real, 22, was found on May 7 in the Eagle Creek area, about forty kilometers from Portland.
