They have never denied that relations between them are strained: for at least four years, Elisabetta Canalis and Maddalena Corvaglia have interrupted their friendship, born on the counter of Striscia la Notia. The two split in 2019 for reasons neither of them have ever wanted to officially explain to the media.
“It was a beautiful friendship that it doesn’t take anything that it’s over. With Elisabetta we were inseparable and accomplices even in the most difficult moments. During these three years together, they were all convinced that sooner or later we would have quarreled, instead we always protected and supported each other,” he said a few months ago in an interview with Giovanna Cavalli: “What happened then? I will never say it was too bad for me. When trust is lost, friendship breaks down. I’m not a weirdo, but I tend not to let people get too close just for fear of seeing them walk away. I’m careful, I wear eighty layers of armor, it’s very painful to lose someone you care about. I lost my father as a child, I know how it feels, I don’t want it to happen again.”

But now Elisabetta, who is now increasingly living in the United States, has published an old photo on her Instagram stories that portrays her with Maddalena at the time of their friendship.
No comments, no sentences, just a fun emoji to accompany the shot.
The picture, which has been making the rounds on social media in no time, has reignited hope among fans that, after years of distance and not-too-disguised contradictions, there will be a rapprochement between the two.
Some also believe that Canalis wanted to send a clear signal of peace to her former best friend.
