German police recently checked a 51-year-old driver in Freilassing, Bavaria, on the border with Salzburg. It turned out that he was under the influence of drugs, did not have a valid driver’s license and was also in possession of around 100 grams of cocaine. The 51-year-old man is under arrest.
At around 5:15 am, a patrol from the local police inspection checked the driver in Freilassing on Münchener Strasse. Officers quickly discovered that the driver, a 51-year-old man from Freilassing, did not have a driver’s license. He also resisted the actions of the police and was arrested.
Almost 100 grams of cocaine were also found at the scene – and during the subsequent search of his apartment also several prescription drugs. As there were concrete indications that the 51-year-old man was driving the car under the influence of drugs, a blood sample was taken from him. With positive result.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office in Traunstein subsequently filed an arrest warrant, which was upheld by an investigating judge. The 51-year-old man is now in custody.
