Helen Flanagan was mortified for her latest Instagram post about her baby son Charlie.

Helen, 32, shared a series of photos while kissing Charlie and joked with the caption that she was “trying to take pictures with my two-year-old.”
The post was soon inundated with comments, including some criticizing Helen’s upbringing, asking: “Why do you keep asking your kids for kiss after kiss… like that’s not normal and the way you talk to them is when.” would you talk to puppies.”

“It’s a parenting style and it’s totally fine,” agreed another.
“You’re only little once, not all kids need tough love,” read another supportive comment.
Others argued that Helen only shared a small snippet of her day online, with one supporter writing, “We see 2 seconds on Instagram.” How do we know she doesn’t play with him the rest of the time? Also, most celebrities get paid to use Instagram.”
“You can tell it’s a photo that was taken in a few seconds of one day.” So you have no idea about the other 23 hours or more. She is a loving mother, the world needs more people like her. “Stop belittling women/mothers,” wrote another.

Sharing more of the gruesome news, she commented, “Disgusting comments. I just love my kids.”
Reality star Helen, who recently appeared on I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, is also mother to daughter Matilda, seven, with her ex Scott, 32, who she split last year after 13 years together.

Having previously spoken out about adjusting to life as a single mom and needing some “adult time” to herself after splitting from her longtime love, footballer Scott Sinclair, she was joined by her good friend and makeup artist Ashley Elizabeth to her.
And while many fans praised the star for letting her hair down, others were quick to criticize her for being without her kids.

It said, “You need to spend more time with your kids.”
In response, Helen responded on her social media: ‘I’ve never had a girls holiday like this as I’ve always stayed home and taken care of the kids.’ Why is it always about women?’

The former Corrie actress took to her Instagram Stories to open up about the struggles she’s having trying to get her five-year-old daughter Delilah on a good sleep schedule.
Television personality Helen, who admitted she was emotional as she spent her first weekend alone away from her children earlier this month, has welcomed her youngsters back into her home but admitted she wants to change some habits with them.
She explained, “I fell asleep with the kids last night.” So Delilah does this thing where she can’t fall asleep without me, has no chance, she’s just going to scream and scream and scream.
“I’ve spoken to Scott’s mom and I think we’re going to get her into a different routine.” Gosh, she’s almost five, but honestly, she won’t go to bed without me. She literally has to sleep right there (next to her face).
“Usually I pretend to go to sleep and then when she’s asleep I sneak out of the room. Anyway I didn’t, I fell asleep and I fell asleep with my contacts on. Great!
“But I also need my own time as an adult, even if it’s just watching something I want to watch or talking to my friends.” I just need that switch.
“I would say I was well rested but my eyeballs hurt and we were up early this morning.”
Helen said co-parenting with Scott was “pretty drama-free,” stressing that since their split, they’ve done everything they can to make things easier for the kids.
She told The Sun: “I’m co-parent with Scott. We were together a long time. So he lives with his mother in Bristol and I live in Manchester with the kids. I get along really well with Scott’s mother.

“I dated Scott from the age of 19 to 31, that’s why I get along so well with his mom.” Honestly, spending time together makes my life so easy. It is very nice. It’s pretty drama free as I get along really well with her.
“The kids see their dad all the time, they see their grandma a lot.” We’re always in Birmingham a lot to meet up with the kids halfway.
“The kids also have a great time when they are with me.” I have a friend who helps me because of course I also work. I work almost every day so I have a friend to help me because well I’m not superwoman.
“We do mom things, the kids all have different activities too.” Then when they go to their dad’s, they have a good time with him. They have just been to Dubai with their dad for a week and were having a great time. That’s why I missed them when they were gone, but when they came back it was a shock to my system.”
