Stanley Cup final: In a tweet, the Golden Knights recall an old “mistake” that the Panthers made

Jonathan Marchessault scored two goals and an assist in Monday’s second game of the series, which Vegas won… beating the Florida Panthers 7-2.

And the Knights didn’t fail to remind their opponents that the Quebecer once belonged to the Panthers. In fact, the forward joined Vegas when Florida left him unprotected in the 2017 expansion draft. The Knights picked him back then, as they recalled in this tweet posted during the game.

The Golden Knights won their two games in Vice City and are now traveling to Sunrise for Game 3 on Thursday.
