Rumors about Samsung’s next folding smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5, are piling up. The manufacturer seems to have got into the habit of renewing this product line in the summer instead of its old Galaxy range. A notice. We are therefore awaiting information on the organization of a Galaxy Unpacked.
After some noise in the hallways, Samsung Australia seems to have screwed things up. In a publication that has since been deleted but is still available on Google Cache, the manufacturer mentions an unpacked event.
release error?
As Samsung Australia has deleted its item we are keeping the condition for now. We were able to read that Samsung would be organizing its 27th Unpacked event at COEX, which is Samsung’s headquarters in Seoul, in July.
If confirmed, it would send a strong signal for the company to play at home. When a manufacturer launches a product right in their hometown, it’s usually a significant event in the brand’s history.
The statement justified Seoul’s choice because of “its role in influencing global trends through its vibrant culture and innovation.”
Several manufacturers have recently entered the foldable smartphone market with proposals that are sometimes more relevant than Samsung.
On the way to a presentation at the end of July
The press release also states that it will be a demonstration of the range of foldable smartphones, so there is little doubt as to the theme of this conference. In addition, the period from the end of July is also mentioned, without a specific date.
In 2022, Samsung introduced its line of foldable smartphones on August 10, 2022. With a presentation at the end of July, the company would take a few days. A credible theory of which we will still await an official and definitive announcement from the other Samsung branches.
