A violent contact between Matthew Tkachuk and Jack Eichel in mid-ice set fire to the powder snow during Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals Monday night in Las Vegas.

Leaving his territory at high speed, Eichel lost his footing just as Tkachuk was about to deliver a powerful shoulder smack.
Acorn’s head unintentionally absorbed the shock, causing the Golden Knights star to lose his helmet. Acorn grimaced in pain and knelt on the ice rink after the contact.
The Golden Knights players quickly came to his side.
