Abbie Chatfield had to cancel her popular late-night radio show on Wednesday after an unfortunate incident on set resulted in a trip to hospital.
The surprise announcement hit social media just minutes before the latest episode of Hot Nights with Abbie aired.
Updating the show’s account mysteriously said, “Jimmy, Nath and Abbie are unavailable tonight as one of them was hospitalized following an incident.”
Chatfield, Jimmy Smith and Nath Roye will host Hot Nights with Abbie.
While the post didn’t go into details, it said further updates would be announced Thursday evening.

It comes after Abbie’s former Hit Network co-host Rohan Edwards finally opened up about his shock departure from the show.
Rohan was a long-time co-host of Abbie’s radio show Hot Nights until he abruptly quit the show under mysterious circumstances in April.
Regarding his exit, Rogan wrote on Instagram on Monday, “I probably should have said something sooner.” But thank you to the people who have been lovingly messaging me and taking care of your boy over the past few months.
“Life outside of radio was pretty weird and I had a million different feelings about everything,” he continued.
“But it was also really refreshing and things are looking up.”

“Life off radio was pretty weird and I had a million different feelings about everything,” Edwards wrote on Instagram
Rohan then said he was looking to make a complete career change in the future.
“I’m really excited about the idea of doing something new and discovering a different passion,” he shared.
‘I am not ready yet. “I haven’t stopped creating, and I’m still driven by success.”
The post was inundated with supportive comments, including one from fellow radio player Nic Kelly, who briefly took over from Rohan’s post following his bizarre departure.
“I love you, buddy. Get the big horse x,” Kelly wrote.
Much like Edwards, Kelly also abruptly left Abbie’s Hot Nights show, prompting Abbie to say she was “abandoned again” during a candid on-air taping.

In April, a spokesman for Southern Cross Australia said Edwards was leaving the company to pursue his own projects and that he did not want to listen to rumors of a feud with Chatfield.
But Edwards has apparently confirmed that there is bad blood between the two by releasing a cryptic Instagram post targeting people who want to hold him back.
The broadcaster and DJ shared a meme that read, “Stop hanging out with people who don’t want you to win” — a message many Instagram pundits suspected was aimed at Chatfield.
“Nobody’s sure what’s going on.” Abbie seems to be getting along well with Rohan on the show, but people are wondering if things aren’t so rosy behind the scenes,” a source said at the time.
Edwards had followed Hot Nights founding producer Max Corstorphan to the door.
No reason was given for Corstorphan’s departure a few weeks earlier.
Meanwhile, Abbie is currently busy hosting her new binge reality series, Fboy Island, while balancing her roles on Hot Nights and her It’s a Lot podcast.
