MAJOR MAINTENANCE – In their book, the two historians draw a snapshot of the war in Ukraine. They give Le Figaro their analysis of the Ukrainian counter-offensive, which they say “has already begun”.

Michel Goya is a former naval officer and doctor of contemporary history. He is accustomed to military circles and has also been very present in the media since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.

Jean Lopez is Editor-in-Chief of Guerres & Histoire and a historian and author of numerous reference books on World War II and the Soviet Army.

Together they publish The Bear and the Fox, a direct history of the war in Ukraine, of which Le Figaro Magazine exclusively published the good bits.
