Natalie Portman has put her personal drama aside to enjoy a gripping sporting spectacle today as she was pictured smiling happily during a performance at the French Open – amid reports that her husband, to whom she has been married for 11 years, is having an affair had with a younger woman.
The Oscar-winning actress, 41, appeared in high spirits as she watched Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff’s quarterfinal match in Paris, despite a turbulent week that has put her personal life at the center of a raging scandal.
Wearing a pretty printed mini dress and a £690 Dior straw hat to keep cool in the sweltering temperatures, Natalie sat next to a male friend with whom she had a lively chat.
Natalie was still wearing her antique diamond engagement ring and wedding ring just days after her husband Benjamin Millepied, 45, reportedly had an affair with a 25-year-old woman.
Last week, Portman and Millepied’s marriage was the subject of an article in French publication Voici, which claimed the French dancer and choreographer had been having an affair with the younger woman – a climate activist named Camille Étienne.

However, People reported that an insider claimed the alleged affair with Étienne was “short-lived” and is now “over”.
According to Page Six, Portman found out about her husband’s cheating in early March and that the couple had split last year but were managing their relationship woes.
And now, after this alleged transgression, they are once again taking steps to do whatever it takes to save the marriage.
A source confirmed to that the couple, who have been married for more than ten years, are indeed still together.
“He knows he made a huge mistake and is doing everything he can to get Natalie to forgive him and keep their family together,” a source told People.
“Natalie is incredibly private and has no intention of showing it off in the media. “Her top priority is protecting her children and their privacy.”
Portman, a native of Jerusalem, Israel, and Millepied, who is from Bordeaux, France, have two children together: son Aleph, who turns 12 on June 14, and daughter Amalia, six.
They met in 2009 on the set of their psychological horror film Black Swan, which he choreographed, leading to her winning the Academy Award for Best Actress for her captivating performance.

Most recently, the leading lady was promoting her latest production, romantic drama May December, starring Julianne Moore and Charles Melton, which had its world premiere on May 20th at the 76th Cannes Film Festival.
Multiple publications reported that the couple’s marital troubles on the set of the Todd Haynes-directed film were an open secret during the 23-day shoot last November.
