Bleu Jeans Bleu, Paul Daraîche, Lisa LeBlanc and Loud offer concerts for the 55e Granby International Music Festival (FICG) edition, from August 10th to 20th.
The music event will also feature performances by the 24 semi-finalists from the Grand Concours Hydro-Québec, and Kanen will be featured in the finals, we learned at Tuesday’s program unveiling.
The FICG will also spotlight the 24 young artists of the Never Too Soon project and the fifteen or so emerging artists who will be participating in the Solotech Musical Showcases.

The semi-finalists of the 55th edition of the International Music Festival in Granby will meet in Granby on Tuesday 6 June to unveil the programme.
A weekend in the country
As a novelty, the festival is organizing a country weekend for the first time in the outer courtyard of the Palace of Granby. Cindy Bédard, Paul Daraîche, Phil G. Smith, Léa Jarry, Karo Laurendeau and Steve Veilleux will perform on August 12, with Marie-Ève Laure opening the performance. Phil G. Smith will have performed with Mylène Vallée as the opening concert the day before.
The Spectacles Desjardins will be back at Daniel-Johnson Park for the second weekend with performances by Loud (August 18), Lisa LeBlanc (August 19) and Bleu Jeans Bleu (August 20).

For this reason, the FICG has put together a varied and very festive program that will once again bring together renowned artists and new talents of the French-speaking song. Andréanne A. Malette, Julien Charbonneau, Charles Robert and Mariane Vallières will provide training to 24 young people aged 14 to 17 from across Canada as part of Never Too Early. They will take the stage on August 13th.
Finally, from August 16th to 18th, the Vitrines Musicales Solotech will showcase 15 emerging French-speaking artists to industry professionals.
