Michel Cote is awarded posthumously

Hi Michael! – Journal

It was with dismay that I learned of the death of Michel Côté, after a fight that he fought for the man he was: he showed great discretion and great courage.

He will have left the mark of the example he was for a whole province and a whole region, ours, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. Alma’s little fella stayed proud of his roots; That is why his place in our hearts is so great.

The body of Michel Côté will be displayed on June 8th in the burning chapel of the Monument-National. I cannot help but highlight the generosity and the great sensitivity of his family, who agree to share him with us, him who belonged to a whole people through his flourishing public career.

Once again, one last time, we will have the opportunity to greet him.

tribute

It’s true, Michel Côté has always been one of us. We encouraged him, we supported him, applauded him, loved him for everything he was, for everything he represented. It is now up to us to pay him one last respect.

For the people of our region, for all who loved him, for those whose son, brother and role model he was undoubtedly; a final farewell, in the presence of the corpse, will be possible.

I applaud the great generosity of the family: Véronique Le Flaguais, his wife, Maxime Le Flaguais and Charles Côté, his sons, who understood that Michel too is part of the whole community. What a great honor, to offer as a gift the great privilege of saying goodbye to him one last time.

Thanks to the family. Thank you Michael We will not forget you.
