Roxy Jacenko is celebrating her last birthday as a Sydney socialite as she prepares to move to Singapore with her family.
And as she turns 43, we look back on her incredible transformation from a fresh-faced receptionist to an amazing plastic PR pro worth millions.
While fans may know the mother-of-two for her penchant for fake tans, blonde hair extensions and cosmetic enhancements, Roxy wasn’t always quite so glamorous.
The publicist was once a teenage McDonald’s employee whose poor grades in school made it impossible for her to attend university.
Instead, after graduating high school, the ambitious young woman took up odd jobs—working as a junior florist by day and developing photos for the local Kodak store by night.

She then took a front desk job at clothing company Diesel, working her way up to marketing manager, despite having no experience in PR or marketing.
Photos from this period show Roxy almost unrecognizable with light brown hair, thinner eyebrows, freckles and a fresh complexion untouched by cosmetic surgery and dermal fillers.
Shortly after starting her own advertising company, Sweaty Betty PR, at the age of 24, Roxy began experimenting with her look.
She started wearing dirty eye makeup while dying her hair dark brown.
The socialite started wearing hair extensions and frequenting the spray tanning salon regularly.
The more successful her business became, the more expensive Roxy’s look became.

In 2015, she began bleaching her hair blonde and changed her messy makeup to a more contoured look, similar to Kim Kardashian’s. She also grew her eyebrows fuller and started wearing eyelash extensions.
Once a champion of the bohemian, carefree aesthetic of Sydney’s social scene in the early 2000s, Roxy has now embraced a more striking fashion sense and is now known for her penchant for luxury designer clothing and accessories.

Her enthusiasm for cosmetic surgery also began around this time, when the businesswoman changed her appearance again with a rhinoplasty.
Speaking about her new nose with Who magazine at the time, Roxy said: “I was past the floppy end and the bump at the tip of my nose, so it made sense to have them fitted.”
“My nose looks a hundred times better and I can breathe.” [properly] is a luxury.’
After recovering from breast cancer two years earlier, she underwent a second breast reconstruction in 2018.
Roxy has never been afraid to admit she’s made a few improvements.

Roxy revealed at one of her speaking events in June 2018 that there was “nothing wrong” with performing procedures to “fix” problems.
“If you’re not happy with something about yourself, what’s wrong with changing it?” I like being real. “There’s nothing worse than reading articles about people refuting claims that they fixed this or that,” Roxy said.
She then joked about her “sultana t*ts,” saying that her old nose “entered a room before her.”
Roxy has never been afraid to draw attention to how much she’s changed over the years, even uploading these before and after pictures of herself to Instagram in 2020
Roxy has also been candid about her love of cosmetic fillers and botox injections over the years.
Speaking to The Kyle and Jackie O Show in 2018, Roxy even joked that her lips would melt in the sun because she put “too much stuff” in them.
However, in 2022, Roxy announced that she had finally given up her famous lip fillers in favor of a more “natural” looking procedure called the “Lip Flip”.
A lip flip is a procedure where Botox is injected into parts of your upper lip.

Unlike lip fillers, a lip flip defines the cupid’s bow and provides more shape, while the lip filler adds volume and plumps the lips.
In April this year, Roxy debuted another new look, cutting her hair into a bob and dying her locks a warm chocolate brown.
Roxy debuted her new style in an Instagram video, explaining she’s “almost back to her natural state” after sporting brown hair when she started Sweaty Betty PR in her 20s.

A month later, Roxy changed her lifestyle yet again by adding a set of chunky brown extensions.
The weight of the entrepreneur has also changed significantly in recent years.
When her husband Oliver Curtis was jailed for insider trading in 2016, Roxy’s life plummeted and her weight plummeted to dangerously low levels.
Despite this, she often flaunted her extremely slim figure in tiny bikinis on Instagram, which caused concern among fans.

Roxy has since faced her demons and gained more weight to reach a healthier height.
She previously spoke to the Chron about how “dangerous” her weight loss became during her darker days.
“I lost to 49kg sometime between 2016 and 2017, it was a bad time for me,” she told Chron Australia in February 2018.
“I had personal issues, was diagnosed with cancer, ran my businesses (Ministry of Talent, Sweaty Betty PR and Pixies Bows), had two children and a husband who was in prison.”
She continued, “I remember going to my mom’s family dinner one Tuesday and she forced food on me — I undoubtedly had a problem.”
