Adam DeVine says he and his wife witnessed a 39-year-old man “shot dead” outside his $2.6 million Hollywood home

Adam DeVine has revealed the moment he and wife Chloe Bridges watched as a man was “shot dead” outside their neighbor’s $1.8million home.

Emil Lahaziel, 39, died just after 2 a.m. Wednesday morning in Hollywood Hills West after suffering multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

Despite the apparent unease of his co-hosts Blake Anderson, Anders Holm and Kyle Newacheck, DeVine addressed the moments leading up to Lahaziel’s murder as part of the live podcast, This Is Important.

‘It’s really scary what just happened.’ So they were having this crazy poker game across the street, right?’ he said.

“People flocked like Lamborghinis, Bentleys and Rolls Royce and shit and old guys who sure fuck prostitutes and play cards.”

“And I see these guys and it’s fun to sit and watch [so] “Me and my wife we’re sitting on our balcony and this looks crazy.”

Then DeVine pauses and tells the audience, “Now it’s getting sad.”

“Someone was murdered there,” he continues, before Anderson asks him to repeat his statement, albeit with the added effect of a sinister audio byte.

“Someone was murdered,” he repeats, while Newacheck replies, “That’s a downer.”

“Yeah dude, I called that shit. I called that shit. I thought, “This is disgusting what’s happening here,” and sure enough, someone’s getting shot,” he continued.

“That’s sad,” Newacheck replies, as Holm quickly adds, “Yes, a real person, no longer with us.”

“Yeah, but that happens, people die,” DeVine defends his retelling of the fatal shooting.

“This isn’t Hollywood, this is a story about my real life,” he continues.

“I mean, it’s quite Hollywood, you’re like, ‘I guess I live in places where people get murdered, that’s pretty cool,'” says Holm, before the group quickly changes the subject.
