Quebecers’ favorite comedian died last week. He was 72 years old.

The public can say goodbye to him from 1pm to 5pm and from 6pm to 9pm at the National Monument on Boulevard Saint-Laurent. The actor’s family will be present.

And in Quebec today, the flag of the central tower of the Parliament building flies at half-staff in honor of the actor.

Born in Alma on June 25, 1950, Michel Côté has appeared in about forty films and television series.

He received numerous awards for his role in Broue, including the National Assembly Medal of Honor.

Prime Minister François Legault will posthumously confer on him the title of Knight of the National Order of Quebec on June 21.
