Actor Adam DeVine opened up about the chilling moment he and wife Chloe Bridges saw a man “shot dead” outside their luxurious $2.6 million Hollywood mansion.

During a live recording of the This Is Important podcast Wednesday night, the 39-year-old Pitch Perfect star recalled seeing a man being shot from across the street.

“This is really scary what just happened. So they were having this crazy poker game across the street, right?” DeVine told hosts Blake Anderson, Anders Holm and Kyle Newacheck.

“This is really scary what just happened,” DeVine told the podcast hosts. Moment.co

“There were people pouring in like Lamborghinis, Bentleys and Rolls-Royces and so-and-so old guys who are definitely fucking prostitutes and playing cards,” he continued, according to the footage.

“And I see these guys and it’s fun to sit and watch [so] Me and my wife we ​​are sitting on our balcony and this looks crazy.”

DeVine warned the audience, “This is where it gets sad,” DeVine recalled as the man, later identified as 39-year-old Emil Lahaziel, suffered multiple gunshot wounds around 2 a.m

“Somebody got murdered there,” said the The Intern actor, adding, “Somebody got murdered.”

“Yeah dude I called that shit, I called that shit. I thought, ‘This is horrible what’s happening here,’ and sure enough someone’s getting shot,” he said.

The podcast hosts seemed stunned by DeVine’s memory. Newacheck called the situation “sad,” before Holm added, “Yes, a real person, no longer with us.”

“Yes, but there are times when people die,” DeVine added. “This isn’t Hollywood, this is a story about my real life.”

DeVine lives across the street from the house where Lahaziel succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday morning.

The ordeal escalated after Lahaziel engaged in a heated exchange with another man in the driveway.

The unidentified man pulled out a pistol and shot Lahaziel multiple times, the Los Angeles Times reports.

LAPD officers performed CPR on Lahaziel upon arrival, the outlet adds, but he died at the scene.

Police told the outlet that the shooting was not a gang connection. The shooter was at large Thursday morning.
