Distraught Theranos con artist Elizabeth Holmes was spotted crying during a seven-hour gathering with her family last weekend — less than a week after she reported to federal prison in Texas to serve her 11-year sentence.

An emotional Holmes, 39, was photographed sitting at a picnic table and walking the grounds in her prison uniform while staying with her husband William Evans and parents Christian and Noel at Federal Prison Camp Bryan near Houston last Saturday met .

Holmes was “visibly shaken” and “cried for much of the visit,” according to the Chron, which initially received photos of the visit.

One picture showed Holmes walking alongside Evans and clinging to one of his fingers – a hug that appeared to violate the prison’s policy against prolonged physical contact.

The report said Evans and Holmes’ mother “appeared equally upset” during the trip, while their father was “more stoic.”

Holmes is allowed one visit per week.

The family reportedly stayed on site during the “full duration of visiting hours” and spent several hours outside before heading to prison for the final part of the trip. The Holmes clan enjoyed vending machine snacks, including honey buns and cinnamon rolls.

Theranos was valued at $9 billion at its peak when Holmes boasted the company had developed a blood-testing device that would perform a series of tests on just a single drop of a patient’s blood.

But the startup fell out of favor after a series of reports revealed that the device failed to perform many of Holmes’ claimed functions.

Previously released photos showed that incarcerated Holmes – now known as federal inmate 24965-111 – had ditched her signature black turtleneck in favor of drab khaki sweatpants and a dark brown T-shirt.

Holmes is being held in the same low-security prison as former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reality star Jen Shah, who was sentenced to six years in prison for his role in a telemarketing fraud scheme.

As The Post previously reported, a former inmate alleges that the Texas prison where Holmes will serve her all-women sentence once used male wardens to perform “shower checks.”

The facility has also faced half a dozen sexual misconduct cases in the last year.
