This party, which will take place this Saturday and Sunday at the Arena Cañaveralejo, will feature 25 well-known cult artists of a genre that took over the world in the 1990s, delivering a mix of virtuosity on stage with drums, brass and letters with distinct Costumbrista value.
The Timbaland Concert brings together the best of Cuban music: dance and culture, with live concerts showcasing traditional pieces and modern fusions.
According to the program, among the participants are Pedrito Calvo, NG the Band, Mayito Rivera, Paulito FG and his Elite, Maykel Blanco and his Salsa Mayor, José Pepito Gómez, Ángel Bonné, Bárbaro Fines and his Mayimbe, Fresto, Calibre.
Renowned artist Alexánder Abreu and Havana de Primera, Adalberto Álvarez Orchestra, Ángel Yos, Charanga Habanera, Haila Mompié, Surcaribe, Barbarita, Calidad Plaza, Manolín, El Médico de la Salsa, Son 21 and Amaray will also be present.
In addition to the concerts, the Cañaveralejo Arena hosts accompanying activities such as dance workshops, art exhibitions and Cuban gastronomy, creating an enriching and immersive experience.
The organizer of the event, Jaime Quinto Mayor, said he was delighted to bring the Cuban timba to Cali, Zona de Impacto newspaper pointed out.

In addition to the island’s renowned musicians, four national orchestras will take part, among the best exponents of Cuban timba.
