The judiciary orders Mário Frias to delete fake news against Ludmilla Splash

The Rio de Janeiro judge issued an injunction in favor of Ludmilla in a fake news lawsuit against Federal Congressman Mário Frias (PLSP). The information has been confirmed by syringes.

Jair Bolsonaro’s former special secretary for culture had insinuated on his social networks that the singer had received R$5 million under the Rouanet law for an ANCINEapproved project entitled “Ludmilla Solta a Batida”.

Judge Bianca Ferreira do Amaral Machado Nigri of the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice ruled that the deputy should remove the accusatory posts from his social networks as they “could damage the author’s image”. Frias has 48 hours to delete the postings.

The verdict is:

“For these reasons, I am happy to defer the measure in order to determine that the defendant removes the publications from the platforms on which they were published, in particular: the photo of the author embracing the current President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio da Silva , plus two news clippings, one about an alleged report by Folha de São Paulo indicating that the plaintiff did “L” for Lula on her show, and the other, a publication in the Official Gazette which, according to the defendants, would prove the plaintiff would have received almost BRL 5 million through Rouanet Law within 48 hours.”

What happened?

Mário Frias implied that the project for the TV show in question was related to Ludmilla’s support for Lula’s (PT) candidacy.

The program, tentatively titled Ludmilla Solta a Batida, was explained by the singer, who claimed to have nothing to do with the project.

“The project was originally intended for Ludmilla, who was invited to be part of the cast in 2020. However, some time later the singer declined the invitation for professional reasons. Since the project was already registered with ANCINE, the title was.” could not be changed at this time. Due to agency rules, the name of the project can only be changed after its implementation, which is scheduled to take place in 2024,” reads the producer’s note shared by Ludmilla.
