Family business Kate Middleton, 41, filed for bankruptcy after racking up $3.2 million in debt, the equivalent of more than R$15 million.

The company name is Party Pieces. This is a mail order party company founded in 1997 by Carole and Michael Middleton, parents of the Princess of Wales.

Kate worked for the company as a designer and photographer. She worked at Party Pieces before marrying William, the current heir to the British throne, in 2011.

After the pandemic, the debt piled up. According to DailyMail information, the business debts are with banks in England. The company was eventually sold to businessman James Sinclair after it filed for bankruptcy last month.
