In Harmony: The Fall of Reverie, players take on the role of Polly, a young woman who returns to her hometown in hopes of finding her mysteriously missing mother. Polly soon discovers that she possesses a gift of clairvoyance that connects her to another world, Rêverie, where she becomes Harmony. She will have to attempt to restore balance between our world and that of Reverie, the realm of divine beings known as Aspirations: Glory, Bliss, Power, Chaos, Bonding and Truth.

As Harmony, players are tasked with choosing the aspiration that will become the new heart of humanity. In Rêverie, the mantique will allow them to move from one scene to another, peeking into the future and thus discovering new branches. Here Harmony will determine the fate of humanity using resources: crystals capable of unlocking important nodes in the story that she will win depending on her choices and the connections she makes with the aspirations.
