With Zeste and TVA: a big TV spring for Stéphane Fallu

Stéphane Fallu is celebrating a big TV comeback this spring. He takes the helm On the way from Thursday about Zeste and his series Animal Shelter: Aristopaw’s Mission arrives at TVA in a week.

The comedian and host replaces Benoit Roberge, who hosted Sur le Pouce for five seasons. Stéphane says he’s lucky to discover the best canteens in the Belle province, but he had to adjust the plan after a few days of shooting because he ate too much!

“I had to slow down or I wouldn’t have survived it, it was so good!” he told the QMI Agency.

A gourmet, Stéphane is certainly one and he enjoys multiplying the meetings with people who work at all the addresses visited throughout Quebec, bringing his humor and good humor to the streets.

“It’s like a little man’s dream. It’s so much fun doing a food show!”

In addition to the traditional canteens serving up Putin, hot dogs and hamburgers, the show features teams tweaking their menu to offer mixed dishes that take customers on a journey.

“We visited canteens as if we were traveling around the world. Likewise on the side of Portugal, India and Asia. Street food now belongs in canteens.”

Stéphane discovered many dishes and was interested in preparing them. He was also surprised that there are many local products in the canteens and that he even visits vegan snack bars.

“It’s a lot of fun, we play games with the teams. We also see the reality of the takeaways, the employment, the young people who work there, the tourist side and the world of the place, the regulars. These are incredible encounters, to me it’s like a sequel to Animal Refuge. As much as Refuge is about human encounters, On the Go is about human encounters but with something exciting, which is the food.”

“Aristopaw’s Mission”

In addition to On the Thumb, which will be broadcast every Thursday at 10 p.m. on Zeste from June 8th, Stéphane will be present on the TVA program where his show Refuge animal: mission Aristopattes, published last year on the Vrai platform , will be shown The program will be broadcast every Wednesday at 7 p.m. from June 14.

The comedian is never far away either. Stéphane starts this summer with new equipment. “It feels good to start over, but I had forgotten how stressful it was to do a show. People are very open.”

A roof for young people in need

Stéphane is also involved in the Maison Stéphane Fallu in his town of Chambly in Montérégie. Open since June 29, 2022, this facility, managed by the organization POSA, welcomes young men in difficulty who will be on their own when they come of age. The team would like to add beds for women in the same situation. Several fundraisers are being organized to support the organization, including a comedy night on June 15th.
