The launch of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra rocket is scheduled for June 12, 2023. Until it is available in France at a price of around 1500 euros, DXOMARK gives us something to wait for. The company specializing in laboratory tests of electronic devices has published its famous report on the photo capabilities of Xiaomi’s future flagship.
Conclusion: 14th place, both in the ultra-premium segment and overall. Putting it that way, you can probably imagine that it’s not a phenomenal result, but we still want to emphasize that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra scores 140 points, level with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This is the second-highest score ever for Xiaomi on DXOMARK, whose Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra had achieved 141 points. As a reminder: The Huawei P60 Pro achieved the best result with 156 points.
Why such a score?
If you would like to see the full report, it can be found on the DXOMARK website. The company summarizes its qualities as follows:
Thanks to consistent image quality across all zoom ranges, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra achieves a high position in the DXOMARK camera ranking. It works well in low light and offers excellent exposure and natural detail. The rendering of textures and details is very natural on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which is in contrast to many direct competitors that tend to overemphasize details.

In particular, it has improved in the quality of the zoom, video colorimetry and autofocus. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra fails to climb the rankings for several reasons: poor bokeh rendering, exposure instability, video artifacts, noise, and some stabilization limitations.
