Rammstein fans want to show their support for singer Till Lindemann, who has been accused of sex offenders by several young women, by kneeling at the first concert of the German group’s stadium tour in Munich on Wednesday night.

According to the newspaper Der Spiegel, the idea is circulating in online fan forums. This gesture is a nod to the Rammstein members’ tradition of kneeling in front of the audience at the end of their performances.

“If they kneel, we kneel with them… […] Let them know how much we love them. Love goes out to everyone, including Rammstein,” these admirers suggest.
According to other German media, demonstrators gathered at the entrance of the Munich stadium to protest against the staging of the show, despite serious allegations that Lindemann had drugged and sexually abused young women. A police operation is reported.
Le Journal revealed Tuesday that in 2010, the Festival d’été de Québec refused to honor a request from the Rammstein team to find and provide girls for an after-show party at the Plains of Abraham lodges .
