President Joe Biden responded with “no comment” when he was peppered with questions about former President Donald Trump’s federal indictment during a community college tour in North Carolina on Friday.

Biden was taking a tour of the robotics lab at Nash Community College when he made his first comment on the history-making indictment, which Trump himself revealed Thursday night.

“I have no comment whatsoever,” Biden said as reporters were pushed from the room. He had ignored several shouted questions earlier in the day.

The president later said he did not speak to Attorney General Merrick Garland, who turned over two Trump-related investigations to Special Counsel Jack Smith.

“I haven’t spoken to him at all and I won’t speak to him.” And I have no comment on that,” Biden said.

Earlier, his assistant press secretary, Olivia Dalton, also made a series of no-comments aboard Air Force One en route to his two stops in North Carolina.

She also revealed that like any other American, Biden found out about the Trump news — by watching the news.

had asked her if she could comment on Republicans’ concerns about the release of the indictment against Trump on the same day Republicans in the House of Representatives were given access to an FBI document that a source claimed was a burisma Managers said Biden and his son Hunter each received $5 million to drop an investigation.

“We will not comment here either,” she said. “I’m telling you that though – and confirming, as we said overnight, that the President and senior staff found out just like everyone else last night.”

“No prior knowledge that this was coming.” I found it out from news reports, as did everyone else across America,” she added.

As soon as Dalton got on the plane to chat with reporters, she was asked about the prosecution’s news.

“We simply will not comment on this case and are referring you to the DOJ, which is independently conducting its criminal investigation,” she said.

She also declined to comment on Republican concerns that the Justice Department had become politicized under Biden.

“Look, this is a president who respects the rule of law and has said so since day one,” she noted. “That’s exactly why we’re not commenting here.” He believes in respecting the DOJ’s independence and protecting the integrity of its processes. And that, in turn, is why we leave it at that.”

Dalton also declined to comment on whether the president is okay with Democrats fundraising outside of Trump news.

“I’m just not going to comment on that,” she said, referring to a tweet by Hillary Clinton sent out earlier today.

The former Democratic nominee raised money by selling hats that said “But Her Emails,” a nod to her own classified documents scandal that left the FBI with no charges against her.
