‘ e Paixão’ Actor Unrecognizable in Production for LGBTQIA+ Parade TV

Diego Martins, waiter Kelvin’s interpreter in Terra e Paixão, experienced a real transformation when he took part in the LGBTQIA+ parade in São Paulo this Sunday (11). The Globo soap opera artist posted more pictures on his Instagram profile. By the way, he even won a competition between drag queens.

For the 27th edition of the parade, the actor opted for a blonde wig and a red dress with a sensual slit, as well as boots of the same color. “LGBTs everywhere,” he wrote in English in the caption.

At the age of 26, the São Paulo actor and singer made his debut in Globo’s nine o’clock soap opera last month. He started his career in theater and was even nominated for the Bibi Ferreira Award in the Revelation category in 2017 for his work in the musical A Era do Rock.

In the plot, Kelvin carries on a stillveiled romance with Ramiro (Amaury Lorenzo). The waiter is one of the cartoon characters in Cândida’s Bar (Susana Vieira). Between one gossip and the next, he’s always trying to build a relationship with Antônio La Selva’s macho henchman, the story’s villain, played by Tony Ramos.

The 27th edition of the LGBTQIA+ Pride Parade in São Paulo gathered a crowd on Avenida Paulista in São Paulo this Sunday. Many famous people were there to have fun or attend the event and fight against prejudice.

Terra e Paixão was written by Walcyr Carrasco and takes place in the fictional town of Nova Primavera in Mato Grosso do Sul. The storyline will air until January next year.
