New York Yankees game radio reporter John Sterling showed his professionalism on Saturday.
When the Boston Red Sox visited Yankee Stadium, the 84-year-old was shot directly in the face with a foul. After some “ows,” Sterling quickly went on to describe what happened as the Yankees made it to a final out with a 3-1 win.

The ball that’s been hitting the Bronx Bombers’ voice since 1989 came from the bat of Red Sox third baseman Justin Turner. After the game, he autographed the item, which was added to Sterling’s collection.
