Available since May 2nd, Redfall didn’t really win over the masses and was released in a very questionable state. A little over a month after its release, Arkane Austin today introduces its first major update.

This 1.1 update is huge and fixes many issues. Whether gameplay, AI, performance, multiplayer, accessibility or the interface, all areas are affected in order to significantly improve the gaming experience.

Below is the full patch note in French detailing the fixes. For its part, the studio makes sure to keep working on improving the game and that this major update will be followed by more patches.

More information on future updates, including the introduction of 60fps performance mode on Xbox Series X|S, will be announced soon.

  • Enemy spawn rate in the open world has been increased.
  • Improved Target Visibility (ADS) when looking through a sniper rifle’s sights.
  • Frangible Discs now break on the first impact of all rifles.
  • When using additional ammo storage abilities, ammo accumulated beyond the weapon’s default capacity is now retained between game sessions.
