The eight hour-long episodes follow the adventures of investigators Martin Ward (Colm Feore) and David Bouchard (Patrick Huard) as this time they become embroiled in a case rooted in an Aboriginal community.

The fiction, currently in development, was written by Patrick Huard and a team of screenwriters including Éric K. Boulianne, Suzie Bouchard, Benoît Chartier and Sébastien Ravary.

“I remain excited and inspired by the idea of bringing the Bon Cop, Bad Cop universe into a TV series format,” said Patrick Huard in a press release.

For us, that means more time to delve deeper into the characters and their relationships, and the ability to make the most of dramatic and comedic situations. For the fans, that means four times as much laughter, fun and most importantly: accessibility for as many people as possible across the country!

The films Bon Cop, Bad Cop and Bon Cop, Bad Cop 2, directed by Érik Canuel and Alain DesRochers respectively, were very successful at the box office. The first broke the record for the highest-grossing film from Quebec or Canada in the country, surpassing Chez Porky (1981) with more than $12 million.
