Ricky Gervais’ longtime love, author Jane Fallon, took to Twitter on Tuesday about her “worrying” fear of skin cancer.

Jane, 62, shared a picture of herself looking tearful along with an arrow pointing to a small freckle on her face.

She wrote, “Goodbye that thing on my face.” You tried to hide under a freckle, but now you’ve grown into something that might cause even more concern and you need to go.

“Don’t you dare leave a scar.”

One wrote: “My mum started growing lots of these on her face.” They were all removed. Minimal scarring.’

She replied, “I think getting older will be an endless stream of things growing and being removed.”

Someone else tried to make her laugh, writing: “Look out there will be a dedicated Twitter account soon.”

In response, Jane shared a laughing GIF.

She thanked another fan who suggested a product that would help the healing process a bit.

Jane has been in a relationship with The Office star Ricky, 61, for 39 years – he is now believed to be worth £128million.

She supported him financially and emotionally as he was a rising pop star in the 1980s.

Jane was the sole breadwinner, earning £40 a week from a theater agency and learning to be a screenwriter. To save money, she walked to and from work and shopped for bargains at the local Safeway.
