Australian baker surprises Jennifer Coolidge at Sydney’s Vivid Festival: ‘I was shocked’
An Australian baker surprised Jennifer Coolidge with White Lotus-style biscuits at Sydney’s Vivid Festival.
Perth-based baker Kristy Diffey shared a video on Instagram on Monday of the actress receiving a surprise box of her sweet treats.
Jennifer opened the box to reveal a cookie version of her character, Tanya McQuoid.
“This is Tanya and a dolphin and me on a Vespa with my horrible lover.” “Oh my god, wow,” the actress said after receiving the box on stage.
Sharing the moment on social media, Kristy wrote, “More from last Saturday night’s event from Mike White and Jennifer Coolidge.” Mainly so I can have in my grid a video of Benjamin Law talking to my Tanya from White Lotus – calls cookies my magnum opus.”

“And just so you know I didn’t just make a cookie out of how Armond shit in a suitcase. Thanks to [my friends] to everyone who filmed this moment while I was in shock.’
This comes after series creator Mike White hinted at plans for a possible Australian edition of the hit series White Lotus at a press conference at the Vivid Festival.
“My dream would be to hit every continent, so yeah, it’s basically like a continent of its own,” he said.

“We’ve got to get to Australia somehow if we’re going to continue.” It would be so much fun. ‘
He added, “Obviously there is a huge wealth of talent here and the beauty is undeniable, so it feels like she ticks all the boxes.”
Mike went on to explain that popular Australian actor Murray Bartlett, who played hotel manager Armond, could return to the series if the series decided to make a prequel to the first season.
“I absolutely think that’s possible, we were just talking about it,” he said, adding that Jennifer, who was killed off in season two, could come back for a prequel as well.

While a fourth season could arrive in Australia after the Hawaii and Italy seasons, The White Lotus will reportedly be set in Thailand for the upcoming third season.
White, the creator, sole writer and director of the hit HBO series, has been exploring the Southeast Asian country for the past few weeks, multiple sources told Variety.
Jackass star Johnny Knoxville – a friend of White’s – previously sparked speculation that the series could be set in Tokyo after mentioning that the two had spent some time in the metropolis, although White’s real focus appeared to be elsewhere in Asia .
