An actor who was rumored to have starred in adult films was accidentally hired by Disney to play the role of a mermaid man in the children’s film remake The little mermaid.
“The casting directors decided to cast a lot of really hot male models to play the mermaids in the film. They had no idea about the videos [xxx] by Stefano [Tomadini]’ an inside source would have confided in The Sun, the National Post reported on Monday.
The 24-year-old actor would have been included in the cast of the film, although he probably wouldn’t have turned down some parts of his resume. In fact, under the pseudonym Dante Ferrari, he has had roles in several adult films, each of which has grossed him more than $1,600, the National Post continued.
These would continue to be available online.
“Given that The Little Mermaid is the big summer blockbuster for kids, it’s a little awkward for Disney,” the source reportedly continued.
According to English-language media, the actor also posted behind-the-scenes photos to Instagram during the filming of The Little Mermaid, which opened in cinemas on May 26.
