Nubia Neo gaming smartphone with new Unisoc T820 5G SoC

Nubia Neo gaming smartphone with new Unisoc T820 5G SoC prepares for launch in June 2023 – notebookcheck.biz

Unisoc is a chip designer best known for its economy class 4G chips. However, it would have upgraded to 5G with its latest T820 processor. It would consist of 1 ARM Cortex-A76 responsible for its maximum speed of 2.7 GHz along with 3 other A76 processors clocked at 2.3 GHz and 4 other Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.1GHz.

The T820 would also be equipped with the Mali-G57 MC4 processor as GPU. While it may represent a connectivity upgrade for its OEM, even Unisoc might be willing to admit that its content isn’t new to anyone. This could be why the famous leaker WHYLAB predicts that it will be included in new smartphones priced around $200, starting with the Nubia Neo.

There is certainly no question of a new RedMagic smartphone in this price range – neither in terms of specifications nor performance. Nonetheless, Nubia has infused the know-how of its high-end gaming smartphone brand into the design of the Neo: with a back that at least gives the appearance of having an active cooling system, the Neo has a panel back , which also feels like an active cooling system.

Pre-orders for the Nubia Neo are expected to hit the market by June 20, 2023 – WHYLAB also states that this “budget” is in development. RedMagics will soon be available on the international market.
