Guiga (Mel Maia) will soon appear pregnant in Vai na Fé. The character who started out saying she expected Yuri’s (Jean Paulo Campos) baby to hit him will find out she really is pregnant on Globo’s seven o’clock soap opera. Behind the scenes of the shoot, Mel Maia snapped a photo with a pregnant belly around six months old.

In the plot, Guiga despairs when he sees Yuri with Vini (Guthierry Sotero) and invents that he is expecting a baby. But in the next chapters of “Vai na Fé” she gets really nauseous and takes a pregnancy test at the drugstore. The result will be positive.
“I did not understand. It’s clear that it would end positively, Guiga. You’ve been pregnant since last year,” Yuri will say confused in scenes scheduled to air next 24th.
Guiga will then decide to open the game: “Well… Actually I’m sure, I’m only now sure,” admits the girl. “Let’s just say I wasn’t 100% sure about the pregnancy. I was really sick, but it could have been something else,” sighs the cynic.

Vai na Fé occupies the 7 p.m. slot in the Globo program. The telenovela will be replaced by Gustavo Reiz’s “Fuzuê”, which has started recording and is scheduled to premiere in August. The series will star Giovana Cordeiro and Marina Ruy Barbosa as the young lady and villain, respectively.
