A native of Callao, Bryan Reyna played in the smaller divisions of Cantolao but was active in clubs in Spain for many years. How did Bryan Reyna get into Peruvian football?
As well as excelling in Cantolao’s smaller divisions, Bryan Reyna also played at the 2015 South American U-17 tournament in Paraguay. Peru’s poor campaign aside, Reyna drew attention to himself for his individual virtues. This was decisive for those in charge of Mallorca in Spain to see him and decide to bring him to Europe at the age of 17. In this way, the Peruvian passed the tests and joined the youth team.
After arriving in mid-2016, Bryan Reyna made his debut with the Mallorca first team in the second Division B (third category) 2017–18. He only started in one game out of ten and also played in the reserve. Not enjoying continuity, he was transferred to various third-rate teams in Spain in the following seasons: Toledo (2018), Alcoyano (2018-2019), Barakaldo (2019) and Las Rozas (2020).

Bryan Reyna joined Peruvian football after terminating his contract with Mallorca during the pandemic. In Spain, they reported that he and team-mate Samu Alex Pinto had broken the curfew imposed by local authorities and that the club had sacked them for “indiscipline”. He argued that he continued to play PlayStation at his friend’s house, however, the institution did not back down.
How much is Bryan Reyna worth?
According to Transfermarkt, Bryan Reyna is currently worth around €900,000. This is the highest he has achieved in his career and represents an increase compared to what he had when he arrived from Cantolao (750,000). When he was active in Spanish football, he never surpassed the 100,000 mark, probably due to his age and because he always played in the third division.
Until when does Bryan Reyna have a contract with Alianza Lima?
Bryan Reyna has signed with Alianza Lima until December 2025. However, it would not be unreasonable to consider the possibility that he will go abroad again given the good level he has maintained this season. So far, Reyna has played four games with the Peru team and scored two goals. In addition to the South American Sub-15 in 2015, he also played in the Sub-20 in 2017.
