WATCH: This is what the shiny rings of the Super Bowl champions look like

It was a night of celebration for the Kansas City Chiefs Thursday as they held a private gala to celebrate receiving their Super Bowl LVII winner’s rings.

The band, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid, had a smile on their face at the event, where the color red obviously took center stage. However, the famous rings have attracted much more attention due to their brilliance and originality.

First, the top part of the object can be opened to turn it into a pendant. Inside is a miniature representation of Arrowhead Stadium, the team’s home ground.

The ring also contains three marquise diamonds, symbolizing the three titles in the club’s history. The 38 diamonds on the front represent the total points scored in the last game’s win against the Philadelphia Eagles. Inside, you can see the player’s signature, as well as a list of the Chiefs’ other earnings during the recent playoffs. Each ring is 16.10 carats.

“That’s what we’re working for: winning the Super Bowl and getting our hands on those rings. They will last a lifetime. I know those in charge have done a great job and it’s nice to have two of them,” Mahomes, who has won two of the three finals in his career, told ESPN.
