Kourtney Kardashian is expecting a baby — and she announced her big news in a way that’s very fitting for a rock star’s wife.
The eldest Kardashian sibling, 44, shared a video of herself in the audience on Instagram on Friday night at a concert that her husband, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, 47, was performing at. In the video, the reality star holds up a sign that reads, “Travis, I’m pregnant.” The drummer then came down from the stage to hug his wife, whom he married in Italy in May 2022.
Fans adored the sweet moment between the notoriously loving couple. One wrote in the comments section: “They were really trying to have a baby. Fingers crossed for them.” Another added, “Good for them — you know how badly they wanted that!”
Fans of Blink-182 may recognize Kardashian’s sign: it’s a throwback to the band’s music video for “All the Small Things,” in which a fan in the audience holds up a sign that reads “Travis, I’m pregnant.”
It’s unclear if the rock star really first found out his wife was pregnant, but the couple have been trying to conceive for some time. The Lemme founder, who shares children Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8, with former partner Scott Disick, opened up about her journey to in vitro fertilization (IVF) on The Kardashians. Just last month, Kardashian announced on the third season of her family’s Hulu series that she and Barker were “done” with IVF.
“We would love a baby more than anything, but I truly believe in what God has in store for us. If this is a baby, I believe it will happen,” she said at the time.
Kardashian also opened up about being hurt by previous rumors she was pregnant while trying to conceive. In March, she responded to a commenter on Instagram asking if she was pregnant, writing that her body was changing as a result of her IVF treatments.
Barker is also already a parent. He shares Landon, 19, and Alabama, 17, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, and is also stepfather to Atiana De La Hoya from Moakler’s previous relationship with Oscar De La Hoya.
