WWE Smackdown Report 6/16 The Usos Attack Roman Reigns and Leave the Bloodline PRWrestling

Roman customs

Everything that happened on Friday night.

The show began with the Gauntlet Match in which Pretty Deadly defeated the Brawling Brutes, LWO, Hit Row, The OC and The Street Profits to become the #1 contender to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

– After the fight, the current Couple Champions arrived to exchange promos with their challengers. Everything would end when Pretty Deadly made fun of Sami Zayn’s looks and he and KO tried to attack the former NXT Couple Champions who ended up running away

-Zelina Vega defeated Iyo Sky after arguing with Bayley as she harmed Iyo while trying to help Iyo

-Sky and Bayley discussed what happened backstage. Shotzi seized the moment and challenged Bayley to a fight that saw Bayley jeopardize her place in the MITB. When Bayley said no, Iyo jumped in and accepted the fight on his partner’s behalf.

-We had a Grayson-Waller effect with Charlotte Flair as a special guest. In it, Waller asked Charlotte if she would end up defeating Asuka and win her 15th title, to which Charlotte said that while she stopped counting her titles, it was clear that she would defeat Asuka in two weeks. At that moment, Bianca Belair came to the ring wondering why Charlotte had a chance in front of her and if she deserved her revenge for her loss. After continuing to exchange promos, Bianca would finally say that she will be watching the fight between Charlotte and Asuka very closely as she is tired of being patient

-AJ Styles and Michin were defeated by Karrion Kross and Scarlett

– A new backstage cross between Jey Uso and Paul Heyman, Jey again insisted to Paul that Heyman would resign from the faction if he returned to The Bloodline

– Also backstage, Baron Corbin attacked Cameron Grimes from behind

-Rey Mysterio came to give a promo saying he was very proud of his entire career but especially of recreating the LWO. After that, it would give way to the arrival of Santos Escobar, who would say he worked very hard to get a chance like the one he’ll have now as he competes for MITB. Escobar then thanked Rey for believing in him and told him that he was fighting for Mysterio, for his family, and for the race, but at that point he was interrupted by the LA Knight. Without thinking about words, Knight attacked Rey and Santos, only to later start a fight between Knight and Escobar

– It may come as a surprise to many that Santos defeated Escobar LA Knight. After the match, however, Knight attacked Santos until Mysterio came to his aid.

– At the conclusion of the show, Tribal Chief Roman Reigns (who had traveled with the 3 Championships) came to the ring to see if Jey Uso would finally return to The Bloodline or not. Eventually, Jey, who exchanged looks with Sami Zayn before stepping into the ring, appeared at the scene and when questioned by Roman replied that it was up to Reigns himself as he had to choose between Paul Heyman and him.

-Reigns would say that in the future, when Jey is tribal chief, he can choose his own sage, but for now, Heyman is his sage. Reigns would say his job was to bring her to the promised land, which he’s accomplished over those three years where Jey himself has benefited by becoming “main event Jey Uso,” but the problem was here his brother Jimmy

– At that moment Jimmy came on site and said he hopes his brother doesn’t believe the Reigns nonsense as the only problem here is Roman himself. People started yelling “Uso, Uso,” to which Reigns said Jey should listen to her since it took people 10 years to tell one Uso from another, just as it took them 10 years to get to the Main Event to come to WrestleMania, and that’s it thanks to Reigns

-Also, Reigns added something Jey didn’t know: Jimmy tried many times to prevent his brother from becoming the chief’s right-hand man. This really upset Jey, who berated his brother for limiting him instead of helping him grow just because he believed it was the right thing to do. However, when all indications were that the brothers’ relationship was crumbling when Jey said that Jimmy was definitely out of the bloodline, Jey surprised everyone by saying that he also planned to give Reigns a massive super kick later on

– Jimmy, for his part, gave Solo Sikoa another superkick; And to close the show, the two came together to double-kick Reigns to end this SmackDown, with the Usos more united than ever.
