The Truman Show

Like in the film “The Truman Show”, the 28-year-old former bartender is on stage live for almost eleven hours a day. He entertains his 40,000 or so subscribers whether it’s playing video games, commenting on news or reality TV shows, betting on various challenges to complete, or even going out to a restaurant with Claudie . “I think it’s amazing, I never get tired of it!” he throws.

argue live

Claudie lives under the same roof and obviously also appears on screen a few times, sometimes to greet her subscribers, comment on an event or even to argue. “The world sometimes even sees us arguing […] It’s real life!” she laughs.

In addition to the profit he makes from subscriptions sold at $5 per month, some of his subscribers are able to make donations to him. He then posts his videos on YouTube, which also earns him an amount of money depending on the number of views.

Personal Diary

27-year-old Claudie is omnipresent on social networks, which she considers her “diary”. In addition to her podcast Perceptions, she is also unfiltered in her community of almost 1.7 million subscribers on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

She is extremely in demand and enters into paid partnerships, but admits to turning down several to stay true to herself. It feeds its platforms daily and non-stop between contracts.

“It’s always on my mind, even when I don’t have anything planned, I stay active on my Instagram and constantly document my life.” […] I feel so good, so passionate,” says the young woman from Beauce. For them there is no boundary between private life and work. “I don’t need it, I’m good at the networks,” she said. She is very close to her community and admits to spending several hours a week replying to her admirers.

She entertains her audience with her humorous skits, but also sometimes opens up the discussion about mental health problems and the differences, especially among young people.

“Speaking in stories is the best thing for me. I enjoy working with foundations that help young people,” says the girl, who started a bachelor’s degree in elementary education before transitioning to reality TV.

comedy tour

Her notable social media presence also led her to tour comedy shows in Quebec last year. A “dream” that she would like to relive someday, she says, just like hosting a TV show.
