Laura Cardoso opened for Globo the villa where she lives in Itu, inland São Paulo. Maria Beltrão visited the actress in a report by É de Casa, which was shown this Saturday (17). At the age of 95, the renowned artist has not appeared on television since 2019, when she starred in A Dona do Pedaço (2019).
The journalist was received at the residence by Laura and her greatgrandson Fernando Faria, son of Adriana Balleroni one of the artist’s heirs. The actress is also the mother of Fátima Balleroni, both from her marriage to Fernando Balleroni (19221980).
“There are so many beautiful places here that we decided to check them all out,” Maria announced as cameras showed the exterior of Laura’s villa, which features a swimming pool, huts, a vegetable garden and a chapel. “It’s very nice here, I like it a lot,” said the veteran.
Throughout his career, the television star said he never turned down roles, but he always demanded a lot of himself and only later began to take the job lightly. “I want to make things perfect. I always study a lot and read a lot. In the beginning it is dark. It’s very difficult,” he revealed.

During the Covid19 pandemic, the 95yearold actress has been isolating at the villa with her family. Incidentally, her greatgrandson Fernando is the one who accompanies her in her everyday life and keeps her social networks up to date.
“She’s more than special. She teaches me, teaches us to live as she lets us be. She is a role model for me. You can’t describe it, she’s everything, our mirror,” he said in an interview with Bial.
