The MTA bus crashed into a building near an intersection in the Seton Hill neighborhood on Saturday morning.

According to the Baltimore Police Department, the bus crashed into a Lexus and a Nissan before crashing into a nearby building.

According to Fox Baltimore, after emergency services arrived, the scene was upgraded to a Level 1 mass casualty as 15 people, including the bus driver, were injured.

Some people were still being treated on the spot, while others needed further care in the hospital.

Kevin Cartwright, director of communications for the Baltimore City Fire Department, said they had received reports of an accident at the 400 block of North Paca Street.

A preliminary investigation found the bus collided with a Lexus and crashed into a Nissan before crashing into a building on the 500 block of West Franklin Street, police said.

The building was partially evacuated before the incident and there was some damage to the first floor, but the upper floors are still intact.

The City of Baltimore Police Department, City of Baltimore Fire Department, MTA Police, Paramedics and Building Inspectors are on site.

No further details were initially released by the police. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
