Mixed martial artist Conor McGregor has been accused of another public affair: a woman said Thursday she was sexually assaulted by the athlete during an NBA finals game.
The incident reportedly took place in Miami last Friday. In court letters obtained by ESPN, the woman accused the Heat and NBA security team of separating her from her friend and forcing her into a men’s bathroom where McGregor was waiting for him.
The 34-year-old man would then force himself on her. She described being “forcefully kissed” and McGregor then allegedly attempted to force her into multiple sexual acts.
The lady quickly contacted authorities and the Miami Police Department launched an investigation with its Special Victims Unit. The Heat, the NBA and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have also become aware of the allegations.
The Irishman, meanwhile, through his lawyer Barbara Llanes, denied his accuser’s words. She told ESPN: “Mr. McGregor wasn’t intimidated.
It would be the fourth time the martial arts star has been accused of sexual assault, but it’s a first for him in the United States. He has never been convicted before.
McGregor is serving as a mentor in the current season of The Ultimate Fighter. He could return to the octagon by the end of the year, who has not fought since July 2021.
