Russian occupiers report takeover of Ukrainian village news

According to the Russian occupying forces in the Zaporizhia region, the Ukrainian military today took the village of Pjatychatky with heavy losses. “Ukrainian armed forces managed to take (the village) under their control,” wrote pro-Moscow government representative Vladimir Rogov in Telegram.

Rogov admitted that the wave of enemy attacks had brought results, despite “enormous losses”. Such admissions from the Russian side are rare. Rogov used his message to point out that hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers were killed. There was no confirmation from the Ukrainian side.

The site is now being shelled by artillery from the Russian side, Rogov said. The goal is to completely encircle the Kiev troops. You are threatened with annihilation. Heavy and bloody fighting continued.

Russia annexed the Zaporizhia region. The eponymous regional capital and other parts are under Ukrainian control.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces reported fighting in multiple directions at the front. Footage circulated on social media showing massive explosions and a fire. As a result, near the city of Henichek, the Kiev air force hit a large Russian ammunition depot in the occupied part of the Kherson region.
