War in Ukraine: Russian frontline losses would be highest since Battle of Bachmout

The Ukrainian counter-offensive began in early June and since then losses in the Russian and Ukrainian camps have multiplied. According to British intelligence, Russian casualties are “probably the highest since the height of the Battle of Bachmout”.

When losses multiply on both sides ukrainian front, THE russian soldiers would pay the highest price since Battle of Bakhmoutaccording to British intelligence.

“Both sides are suffering heavy casualties, with Russian casualties probably the highest since the culmination of the Battle of Bachmout in March.” The British Ministry of Defense made this known this Sunday, but without naming any figures.

The fiercest battles would currently be concentrated “in Zaporizhia Oblast, western Donetsk Oblast and around Bakhmout”.

“In all of these areas Ukraine is continuing offensive operations and has made small advances,” reads the British intelligence update. Kiev has also regained control of Piatykhatky, a village in Zaporizhia Oblast, according to a government official Russia.

For their part, the Russian armed forces frequently conducted “relatively effective defensive operations in the south (…)”. And this in particular thanks to their air superiority.
