A United Airlines flight grazed the tail of a parked Delta plane at Boston Logan International Airport in a harrowing collision that startled both the plane and passengers.
Video captured from the United flight shows the plane slowly approaching the parked plane en route to Newark, New Jersey, around 7:20 p.m. Friday, with its wing touching the tail of the Delta plane.
You can see both planes rocking back and forth after the collision.
Alex Wilson, who was on board the Delta flight, said he and his fellow passengers were terrified by the incident, which shook the plane for several seconds.
“(It) wasn’t immediately clear what was causing this, although it felt like a brief earthquake,” he told CNN.
Shortly after the collision, emergency vehicles were dispatched onto the runway and the pilot told the passengers what had happened.

The Federal Aviation Administration said no injuries were reported.
Wilson said his flight was eventually towed and delayed, a fate he shared with United Airlines passengers.
United confirmed that one of its planes disrupted the Delta flight on Friday and said passengers were disembarked at the gate and transferred to other flights.
In a statement, Delta said it also rebooked passengers en route to Detroit after their plane was hit “while awaiting clearance for takeoff.”
