Chris Hemsworth turns to surfing at a time of “internal conflict or turmoil.”
During a recent interview with GQ, the Australian actor opened up about the perks of one of his favorite pastimes. “I’ve always loved surfing,” said the 39-year-old star. It’s one of the few things that holds my attention completely and for the duration.”
The Thor star told the magazine that this activity helps him a lot during times of uncertainty. “Every time I go into the water, I feel a cleansing side. “When I have an inner conflict or turmoil, that’s the only place I go,” he explained. It feels like we’re starting over.
While he was in Prague shooting his latest film, Tyler Rake 2, he flew to Hossegor in south-west France every other weekend to surf. “It got over me,” he said.
