Check out the two actors they are reunited with Walker Scobbell (The Adam Project), who will play the title character pictured above. The new series is inspired by the books by Rick Riordan about a 12yearold boy who discovers he is the son of the Greek god Poseidon.
Just like in the books, Annabeth will be a colleague of Percy’s at Camp HalfBlood, an exclusive retreat for demigods. The daughter of the goddess of wisdom, Athena, is a skilled hunter and strategist who eventually becomes involved with the newcomer.
Grover is a young man, half satyr, half human who becomes Percy’s best friend and protector both inside and outside of the camp.
The main characters were played by Logan Lerman (Percy), Alexandra Daddario (Annabeth) and Brandon T Jackson (Grover) in the two Percy Jackson films released in 2010 and 2013.
Riordan himself will write the series pilot on the side Jon Steinberg (Black Sails). The direction will James Bobin (The Muppets), and the premiere date has not yet been set by the Disney+.
